🔊 STANDARD PROTOCOL – CARRIER SIGNAL

Designation: PROTO-TS/CORE-Ω-0001
Version: 3.2-R
Classification: SIGNAL-AND-BODY PROTOCOL
Scope of Application: All interstellar, orbital and sub-space based communication networks of the SOLARIS Alliance

1 Purpose

Definition of a universal carrier signal ("Carrier") for reliable data, control and synchronization transmission even under extreme conditions (spacetime distortions, pulsar proximity, subspace interference).

2 Overview of Parameters

Parameter Specification
Frequency Band 2.1 GHz ⇄ 2.5 GHz (Primary-RF)
  10.7 THz ⇄ 12.3 THz (Lasercomm Window)
  Q-Photon Channel: λ = 1.31 nm (Hard-X Band)
Modulation Method – Adaptive Phase-Shift Keying (A-PSK)
  – Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum (FH-SS, 128 Frequencies)
  – Quantum Amplitude Coding (QAK)
Symbol Rate (Baud) 4 MBaud (RF) ⇄ 25 GBaud (Lasercomm)
Bandwidth 50 MHz (RF Primary) ⇄ 1 GHz (Lasercomm)
Transmission Power 1 kW – 100 kW (scalable)
Error Correction Reed-Solomon (RS-(255,223)) + LDPC (Rate ½)
Synchronization – Autonomous Forward Pulse Sequence (AFP)
  – Time Coded Q-Handshake (TQH, ±0.3 ns)
Encryption AES-512 (classic) + QKD Layer (Quantum Key Distribution)
Carrier Polarization Linear Rotating (LX01) or Circular (CX02)
Antenna Configuration – Phased Array (RF) with 0.002° Accuracy
  – Photonics Collimator (Laser) with 0.0001° Resolution

3 Activation and Handling Rules

  1. Initialization

    Advertising
    • Release by local Gate-AI (Level Δ or higher).

    • Send calibration signal (Null-Sweep) over 3 cycles.

  2. Carrier Establishment

    • A-PSK mode for data transmission, FH-SS for control commands.

    • Activate Q-Layer only after previous Q-Handshake.

  3. Monitoring and Interference Management

    • Automatic frequency change on signal interference (> -128 dBm).

    • Immediate Fallback to Backup Frequency (Ref. TS-BETA-12)

    • ECHO Loop Detection: > 3 Reflection Cycles → immediate shutdown and restart.

  4. Security Protocol

    • Each signal session is signed with a Q-Signature (validity: 2 Ticks).

    • Unauthorized Wireless Sniffers are disabled by De-Sync Burst.

    • Emergency Kill Switch (Frequency Overlap 0 Hz) via Lasercomm Command.

4 Compatible Subsystems

  • COMM Relays (RF & Laser)

  • Q-Comm Repeaters with Photon Memory

  • Hyperspace Routers (Subspace Coupling required)

  • Temporal Gateway (with TQ Handshake Module)

5 Maintenance & Calibration

Task Interval Responsible
Frequency Alignment (Null-Sweep) every 24 h COMMOps Technician / AI
Modulation Check every 72 h COMMOps / Signal-AI
QKD Layer Validation every 48 h Quantum Security Vault
Antenna Alignment Test each mission Navigation AI
Encryption Update at version x Security Central

6 Emergency Procedures

  • Connection Loss < 10 s: Automatic Re-Handshake

  • Signal Wander (> 0.05°): Panic Fallback Mode (Laser & RF parallel)

  • Total Blackout: Activation of the “Null-Carrier” with minimal data density (16 Bit/Sec.)
